The Arthur's Pass Village area is covered by all Digital 3G/4G networks. Coverage does extend to some high ridges and mountain tops but should not be relied upon as an emergency alternative to telling someone where you are venturing, or taking a PLB with you. There is now coverage for all mobile networks from Jackson's in the west to Christchurch along SH.73 with the exception of some short areas around Porters Pass and the summit of Arthur's Pass.
INTERNET / WIFI
The Arthur's Pass Cafe & Store provides Free Wifi to it's customers. Most accommodation businesses provide Wifi connections to their customers.
