WALKING TIME: 1 Hour Return
FEATURES: Lookout, Experimental Forest
LOCATION: From Arthur's Pass travel on Highway 73 for 40km (40 minutes) towards Christchurch.
Turn right onto the Craigieburn Environmental Education Centre road (gravel).
This walk begins from the Environmental Education Centre and ends by the lookout carpark. It passes through an area that was used for trial planting by the Forest Research Institute from 1956 to the mid 1970's. Return to the carpark by walking along the road.
