Condition Report - Mt Aicken (1858m) - North Ridge
30/05/2026 - Dry summer conditions enjoyed before a massive storm rolled through the next day, gusty though which increased the risk and danger of traversing to the seldom visited yet true summit of Aicken, we did it anyway and were glad we made it down the mountain before dark. Would not recommend in the conditions we had but it could have been worse I suppose... the scarier stories are usually the ones worth telling so we were glad we made it. (Harry Langford, Zena Violet.)
